The Argentinian international pulled up with during a practice match and a subsequent examination revealed a slight tear to his left thigh. The injury is likely to rule the former FC Barcelona and AS Monaco FC forward out until the end of the month, an obvious blow to the injury-hit team, although he should be fit for the side's UEFA Cup Round of 32 tie against FC Lokomitiv Moskva in February.
