Sevilla reward experienced duo

Sevilla FC have secured defender Javi Navarro and goalkeeper Antonio Notario on new contracts as their existing deals were due to expire in the summer.

Young talent
The 31-year-old Navarro and 33-year-old Notario are valued squad members at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium and have both earned two-year extensions. Navarro also has an option that could see him stay for a further season beyond 2008. In addition, Sevilla have taken steps to secure the future of 21-year-old midfielder Lolo Ortiz and 23-year-old defender David Prieto for another two and three seasons respectively.
