Sevilla FC midfielder Antonio Puerta will miss Thursday's UEFA Cup quarter-final second leg against FC Zenit St. Petersburg after straining his hamstring.

Trio out
The 21-year-old suffered the injury during Sunday's 2-1 derby defeat by Real Betis Balompié, although he played the full 90 minutes. He will be out for around three weeks. Coach Juande Ramos is also without Ivica Dragutonović (sprained knee) and Jordi López (thigh) for the trip to Russia, where they will attempt to defend a 4-1 lead from the first leg.
