SC Braga have agreed to sign the former Portugal Under-21 left-back Paíto on a season-long loan from his Spanish club RCD Mallorca.

The Mozambique-born former Portuguese Under-21 international, who turns 24 on Wednesday, made 16 Liga appearances for relegated Vitória SC last term. He was previously on the books of Sporting Clube de Portugal, playing 24 matches over three and a half seasons. Braga are also signing Brazilian striker Maciel Lima. The 27-year-old scored seven goals in 31 games for UD Leiria during the 2005/06 campaign following earlier spells with Leiria, FC Porto and Clube Atlético Paranaense.
