Hertha like look of Lakić

Croatian striker Srdjan Lakić has left NK Kamen Ingrad to sign a three-year contract with Bundesliga club Hertha BSC Berlin after impressing coach Falko Götz.

Hertha BSC Berlin have announced the arrival of Croatian striker Srdjan Lakić as reinforcement for their UEFA Cup campaign.

The Bundesliga side, who will today learn their opponents for the second qualifying round on 10 and 24 August, have given a three-year contract to the former NK Kamen Ingrad player. The 22-year-old, who has appeared for Croatia at Under-21 level, impressed Hertha coach Falko Götz and manager Dieter Hoeness in a recent trial. Hertha begin their Bundesliga campaign in two weekends' time at VfL Wolfsburg.
