PFC Lokomotiv Sofia have suffered a major injury blow after defender Ivan Paskov was ruled out for four months with a serious knee injury.

PFC Lokomotiv Sofia have suffered a major injury blow ahead of their UEFA Cup tie against Bnei Yehuda Tel-Aviv FC after defender Ivan Paskov was ruled out for four months with a serious knee injury.

Winter return
The 33-year-old Paskov, who made 14 appearances for the Bulgarian side in 2005/06, his first at Lokomotiv, suffered the injury in last week's first qualifying round second leg against FK Makedonija Skopje and is now likely to be on the sidelines until the start of December. His club overcame Makedonija 3-1 on aggregate and will now play the Israeli club in the second qualifying round on 10 and 24 August.
