Lucarelli limps out for Livorno

AS Livorno Calcio's Cristiano Lucarelli could miss his side's next two UEFA Cup games after picking up a calf injury ahead of the match against FCS Pasching.

AS Livorno Calcio captain Cristiano Lucarelli could miss his side's next two UEFA Cup games after picking up a calf injury ahead of tomorrow's return leg against FCS Pasching.

Extended absence
The 30-year-old, who scored in a 2-0 win against Pasching in the first leg of the first round tie, has damaged his left calf and may be out of action for three weeks. That means the striker, who has scored 75 goals in 116 Serie A appearaces for Livorno, would be a doubt for his side's first game in the UEFA Cup group stage on 19 October, should they manage to maintain an overall lead against their Austrian rivals on Thursday. The Italian side will also be without Tomas Danilevicius on Thursday. The Lithuanian international, who scored the other goal against Pasching in the first leg, has also injured his calf.
