Sevilla FC's midfield troubles are mounting after Antonio Puerta and Duda joined Jesús Navas and Enzo Maresca on the sidelines in the wake of Sunday's 3-1 Primera División win at Athletic Club Bilbao.
The 22-year-old newly capped Spanish international Puerta has pulled his left abductor muscle while Portuguese midfielder Duda, 26, has injured his left thigh – the same complaint he suffered in pre-season. Both players will miss Wednesday's UEFA Cup Group C trip to Grasshopper-Club, with Duda also set to sit out at least the following league game at RCD Espanyol on 3 December. Navas and Maresca remain on the treatment table recovering from knee problems.
