Hopefuls to learn UEFA Cup fate

Thirty-two teams, including eight clubs moving from the UEFA Champions League, will be in the pot for Friday's draw for the coming two knockout rounds.

Fascinating ties
Among the 32 teams who will be in the hat at UEFA headquarters in Nyon for the Round of 32 and Round of 16 draws are the sides who booked their places on the final night of group stage action on Thursday: namely AS Livorno Calcio, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, SC Braga, RC Lens and CA Osasuna.

Draw conditions
The Round of 32 draw respects the following principles:
* Clubs from the same association cannot be drawn against each other.
* Group winners must be drawn against one of the third-ranked teams from another group.
* Group runners-up must be drawn against one of the eight clubs joining the competition from the UEFA Champions League.
* Group winners and runners-ups will play their second-leg matches at home.
