Hamstring problem sidelines Pršo

Rangers FC striker Dado Pršo is a major doubt for the UEFA Cup Round of 32 tie with Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC having been ruled out for a month with a hamstring injury.

Four weeks out
The 32-year-old former Croatian international first picked up the problem against Aberdeen FC in December, although he made a rapid recovery. However, Pršo suffered a recurrence of the injury in Saturday's 5-0 Scottish Premier League victory over Dundee United FC and had to be substituted four minutes before half-time. Rangers manager Walter Smith confirmed on Monday that the forward will be sidelined for four weeks, with the Scottish side facing Hapoel in mid-February.

Webster cleared
Meanwhile, Scotland central defender Andy Webster has been given permission to move to Ibrox after issues surrounding the 24-year-old's transfer from Heart of Midlothian FC to Wigan Athletic FC at the start of the season were resolved at a meeting of the Scottish Football Association's board of directors.
