Zaragoza bring in Ricardo Oliveira

Real Zaragoza have signalled their intent to build on last season's sixth-place finish, bringing in AC Milan's Ricardo Oliveira on loan and Roberto Ayala may follow.

Real Zaragoza have signalled their intent to build on last season's sixth-place finish in the Primera División, bringing in Ricardo Oliveira with Argentina defender Roberto Ayala set to follow on a permanent deal.

Loan deal
Ricardo Oliveira will spend next season on loan at Zaragoza, returning to Spain 12 months after joining AC Milan from Real Betis Balompié. The 27-year-old Brazil striker endured a disappointing end to last season as the arrival of Ronaldo saw opportunities limited and he managed just one goal in the second half of the campaign.

Ayala link
Ricardo Oliveira will return to the Primera División looking to rediscover the form that saw his notch 22 goals in 2004/05, and he could soon be joined by Ayala after the club revealed the Argentina defender will sign a three-year deal on his return from international duty at the Copa América. Ayala would be a direct replacement for compatriot Gabriel Milito who joined FC Barcelona for reported €20.5m fee on Wednesday.
