The 21-year-old centre-back will be officially presented at El Madrigal today having passed a medical in Valencia on Wednesday. Capped 12 times by Uruguay the Rosario-born Godín joined Nacional from CA Cerro last summer, helping the side finish runners up in the Apertura. He has now become the latest recruit for Manuel Pellegrini ahead of Villarreal's UEFA Cup campaign, following the capture of Giuseppe Rossi earlier this week.
