HNK Hajduk Split and FK Budućnost Podgorica have been fined by UEFA for disturbances involving fans during their UEFA Cup first qualifying round tie last month.

July match
The incidents occurred during the first leg of the clubs' meeting on 19 July when the Croatian visitors earned a 1-1 draw at their Montenegrin hosts. Hajduk have been fined €18,300, with the punishment by the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body also taking into account a "failure to observe UEFA regulations as regards the registration of players". Buducnost will have to pay €6,000. Both clubs have three days to appeal the decision. In the tie, Hajduk won the second leg 1-0 at home to earn a place in the second qualifying round, where they will play UC Sampdoria over two legs on 16 and 30 August.
