Lokomotiv steam in for Guilherme

FC Lokomotiv Moskva have signed Brazilian goalkeeper Marinato Guilherme from CA Atlético Paranaense on a five-year contract.

Goalkeeping riches
The 21-year-old had risen through the ranks at the club and played 18 league matches and three Brazilian Cup games this season. Guilherme becomes the fifth goalkeeper in the senior squad at Lokomotiv with Ivan Pelizzoli currently the number one. "All players think about testing themselves in Europe and I am no different," said Guilherme, who will hope to force himself into contention by the time Lokomotiv enter the UEFA Cup in the first round in September.
