FC Girondins de Bordeaux's Fernando Menegazzo has been sidelined for a month, making the midfielder a doubt for both legs of the UEFA Cup Round of 32 tie with RSC Anderlecht.

The 26-year-old sustained a knee injury during Saturday's Ligue 1 victory at Le Mans UC 72, which moved Laurent Blanc's team into second place in France. Scans on Tuesday revealed a left knee sprain, ruling the four-times Brazilian international out of Bordeaux's trip to Anderlecht on 13 February. The return leg takes place the following week at the Stade Chaban-Delmas.
