Absent for AEK
Pallardó faces a likely eight-week lay-off after spraining ligaments in his right knee in training with the Primera División club this week. The summer signing from Valencia CF will therefore be absent when Getafe take on AEK Athens FC in the UEFA Cup Round of 32 next month. The 21-year-old has made eleven top-flight appearances this season for Michael Laudrup's side.
