Portuguese side CS Marítimo have signed former SL Benfica players Paulo Jorge, Manú and João Coimbra as the Madeira club prepare for UEFA Cup action.

UEFA Cup chance
The three players, all of whom were loaned to other clubs by Benfica last season, have signed two-year deals with Marítimo, who will participate in the 2008/09 UEFA Cup first round after finishing fifth in the Portuguese Liga last season. Paulo Jorge is a 27-year-old left-sided midfielder who can play as full back and Manú, 25, is a winger. João Coimbra, a product of the Benfica youth system, is a 22-year-old central midfielder.
