Belgium beckons for Djamba-Shango

Belgian Cup winners RAA Louviéroise have signed Belgian Under-21 international Serge Djamba-Shango on a one-year loan.

The 21-year-old forward has joined the club from Lille OSC where he has recently signed a three-year professional contract. Djamba-Shango, who is Congolese-born, is now looking forward to proving his worth in the Belgian league.

'A good choice'
"It is time for a new step in my career," he said. "I am happy with my development so far in the youth teams, but I know I have to prove it at the highest level. The Belgian league is great for that. I take defender Michaël Klukowski as an example - he also came over from the LOSC youth team to La Louvière, and it appears to have been a good choice."
