Swedish Under-21 international Bojan Djordic has signed for FK Crvena Zvezda on a one-year loan from Manchester United FC.
Successful season
The 21-year-old midfield player spent 2002/03 on loan with Superligaen side AGF Århus, and played an important part in keeping the club in the Danish top flight. AGF tried to sign the player on a permanent basis, but the lure of Crvena Zvezda, who will play in the qualifying round of next season's UEFA Cup, proved too strong.
'Dream club'
"Crvena Zvezda is the club I have always dreamed of playing for," said Djordic, whose father Ranko represented the Serbo-Montenegrin side in the early 1980s. "They are paying me just as much as Manchester United, so I guess they will be interested in letting me play a lot!"
