FC Steaua Bucuresti have signed the Belarussian international goalkeeper Vasili Hamutovski from SV Waldhof-Mannheim.
The 25-year-old, who has agreed a three-year contract, has won 12 international caps and leaves the German side, who were relegated from the 2. Bundesliga last season, to move to Romania.
Hamutovski, whose previous clubs include FC BATE Borisov, Torpedo-MAZ Minsk, FC Dinamo Moskva and FC Metalist Kharkiv, arrived in Romania on 23 July and impressed Steaua coach Victor Piturca in two pre-season games to earn a permanent deal.
