Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC will be without Serbian midfielder Nemanja Vučićević for some time after the UEFA Europa League contenders confirmed he is suffering from deep-vein thrombosis.

Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC will be without Serbian midfielder Nemanja Vučićević for some time after the UEFA Europa League contenders confirmed he is suffering with deep-vein thrombosis.

'Very serious'
The 30-year-old, who joined Hapoel this summer following a two-season spell at 1. FC Köln, missed Monday's 2-0 victory against Hapoel Haifa FC – the club's sixth straight league win. "This is a very serious condition," manager Eli Gutman said. Already safely through to the round of 32, Hapoel host Hamburger SV on 17 December, needing a win to finish top of Group C.
