Ciro Ferrara is sure Michele Paolucci will be "extremely motivated" after the 23-year-old striker completed a return to Juventus, joining the Bianconeri from AC Siena on loan until the end of the season.

Problem position
Paolucci began his career at the Stadio Olimpico but never made a first-team appearance and left in 2006, enjoying subsequent loan spells at Ascoli Calcio 1898, Udinese Calcio, Atalanta BC and Calcio Catania. He entered into a co-ownership deal between Juventus and Siena last summer and went on to score twice in ten Serie A appearances for the Tuscan club. However, with Ferrara shorn of Vincenzo Iaquinta and David Trezeguet through injury and Amauri due to suspension, Paolucci could make his Juventus debut against at AC Chievo Verona on Sunday.

'First steps'
"It's a great satisfaction for him to be back," said Ferrara. "He is extremely motivated, especially because he made his first steps in football with Juventus. I think he can be a great help." Juventus face AFC Ajax in the UEFA Europa League round of 32 with the first leg at the Amsterdam ArenA on 18 February.
