Marchisio sidelined for 20 days

A thigh strain sustained in Saturday's 2-1 defeat by AS Roma has left Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio facing a race to be fit for the first leg of the Bianconeri's UEFA Europa League round of 32 tie against AFC Ajax on 18 February. The Italian international has been ruled out for 20 days, rendering him unavailable for Thursday's Coppa Italia quarter-final against FC Internazionale Milano and three subsequent Serie A fixtures.
