Three-year deal
Russo has joined on a three-year deal after passing a medical at the capital club. He could make his debut in Sunday's Russian Premier League game against FC Shinnik Yaroslavl and will also be eligible for Spartak's UEFA Cup campaign. Spartak manager Andrey Chernyshov hopes the player - an attacking right-back - will boost the team's chances of silverware in both competitions.
