Kah driven by AIK challenge

AIK Solna have signed 23-year-old Norwegian international midfield player Pa-Modou Kah from Vålerenga Fotball.

AIK Solna have strengthened their squad ahead of the forthcoming UEFA Cup campaign with the signing of Norwegian international Pa-Modou Kah.

Third signing
The 23-year-old midfield player becomes AIK's third signing of the summer, after Derek Boateng and the loan deal involving Kwame Quansah and, after leaving Vålerenga Fotball, will be eligible to play in the UEFA Cup first round tie with Valencia CF.

'Bright future'
"It feels good to get Kah," said AIK Director of sports Peter Kisfaludy. "He's young and has the future ahead of him, but he's already got a lot of experience, much like Derek Boateng."

Five-year stay
Kah, who has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with his new club, joined Vålerenga in 1998 and went on to play 79 matches for the Tippeligaen side, scoring six goals. He has won five caps for Norway, scoring once.
