NK Primorje 6-1 FC Zvartnots
Mitja Zlatkovic scored four goals as NK Primorje eased their way to a comfortable victory over FC Zvartnots in the first leg of the UEFA Cup qualifying round and ensured themselves a relaxed journey to Armenia for the return in two weeks time.
In the first half the visitors mostly managed to resist Primorje's attacking intent and came close themselves in the 41st minute when Nyer Khachatryan narrowly missed. However they were a goal down at this time, Simon Gregoric shooting in from 20 metres just after the half-hour mark.
Zlatkovic shows his worth
The Slovenian side went on to take complete control with Zlatkovic's substitution for Marko Vognic proving particularly significant. Zlatkovic had spent most of last season on the bench but now really showed his worth as he scored four times, his final three efforts coming after Sašo Ranic had made it 3-0. Zvartnots took advantage of their only second-half chance to score a consolation through Tigran Davityan eight minutes from time.
