Early double enough for Djurgården

Djurgårdens IF 2-0 Shamrock Rovers FC (Agg: 5-1) First-half goals for home side.

Djurgårdens IF 2-0 Shamrock Rovers FC (Djurgården win 5-1 on aggregate)
Swedish side Djurgårdens IF ended Shamrock Rovers FC's hopes of progressing past the UEFA Cup qualifying round after completing a comfortable aggregate victory in the second leg of their tie in Stockholm.

Wowoah chests in
Djurgården led 3-1 after their first-leg victory in the Republic of Ireland, and extended that advantage 19 minutes into tonight's game when Samuel Wowoah chested in a corner, after a lively start from the home team. A further goal followed four minutes later, Louay Chanko shooting in off the post from just inside the box.

Djurgården sit back
Few chances followed after half-time, with Djurgården happy to sit back on their four-goal cushion and ensure their first-round berth, although Swedish international Kim Källström went close when he saw his lob from 40 metres sail not far over the crossbar.
