FC Gomel completed a resounding victory over HJK Helsinki tonight with a sparkling performance on foreign soil.

Spirit broken
A single goal behind from the first leg in Belarus, HJK enjoyed much of the early possession but their spirit was broken on 33 minutes when Andrei Nazarov opened the scoring for Gomel with a stunning volley.

Blizniuk blitz
Hitting a post was the closest HJK came to an equaliser before Gomel moved 2-0 ahead through Henadzi Blizniuk eleven minutes after half-time.

Razumau rejoices
Midfield player Maksim Razumau was on target to extend the Gomel lead with a firm left-foot strike six minutes later and Blizniuk capped a fine night for the visitors with Gomel`s fourth at the death.
