Hoch ends Icelanders' hopes

ÍBV Vestmannæyjar 1-3 AIK Solna(Agg: 1-5) Daniel Hoch double confirms AIK success.

ÍBV Vestmannæyjar 1-3 AIK Solna (AIK win 5-1 on aggregate)
Two goals from Daniel Hoch confirmed ÍBV Vestmannæyjar's UEFA Cup exit after an early Gunnar Thorvaldsson goal had raised the Icelandic side's hopes of a comeback at home to AIK Solna.

Thorvaldsson opener
ÍBV, trailing 2-0 from the first leg a fortnight ago, scored in the third minute through Gunnar Thorvaldsson, but were soon pegged back. Mats Rubarth made it 1-1 on the night just six minutes later and this qualifying round tie was effectively over when Hoch scored his first on the stroke of half-time.

Hoch seals win
Hoch, who also scored in the first leg, capped an impressive performance with his second goal of the night after 66 minutes as AIK eased into the first round.
