Fine draw for Zeljeznicar

FK Zeljeznicar 0-0 Málaga CF Sarajevo side hold Spanish Intertoto Cup 'winners'.

FK Zeljeznicar 0-0 Málaga CF
FK Zeljeznicar secured a creditable goalless draw against Spanish side Málaga CF in their UEFA Cup first round, first-leg match tonight.

Strong shot
Málaga, who qualified for the competition via the UEFA Intertoto Cup, almost opened the scoring in the first minute when Dario Silav's strong left-footed shot just missed Kenan Hasagic's goal. Zeljeznicar's Dario Silic went close a minute after that, again just missing the target.

Zeric headers
Senad Zeric headed wide in the 31st minute, and soon afterwards forced Málaga goalkeeper Pedro Contreras into a save with another header. Málaga then took control for the rest of the half, but were able to score.

Silic close
Zeljeznicar came out stronger after the break, and ten minutes into the half, Silic shot wide. Two minutes later, Cosic shot at Contreras after a cross from Admir Kajtaz.

Home side press
As the game ended, Zeljeznicar searched for a winner, Kajtaz going closest when missing an unguarded net from close range. Sanjin Radonja forced Contreras into action again, while at the other end, Málaga could only create a single chance for Dario Silva.
