Clubs: FC København
• Of American ancestry, Delaney was born in Frederiksberg, Denmark, and learnt the ropes at Kjøbenhavns Boldklub, FCK's feeder club.
• Capped at Under-18 level by Denmark, he made his debut for FCK at the end of the 2008/09 season and contributed towards their Danish Cup success.
• Joined the first-team squad for 2009/10, scoring on his European debut in a UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie against FK Mogren (6-0).
• Only a fringe player in FCK's Superligaen title win, he has remained on the periphery in 2010/11, making just two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League group stage – against Panathinaikos FC and FC Barcelona.
• Voted Denmark's U19 player of the year in November 2009, he made his debut for the U21s (hosts of the 2011 European finals) as a substitute in a friendly against Italy (2-2) on 11 August 2010.
