FC Dinamo Minsk secured their first point in UEFA Europa League Group K as they played out a goalless draw with EA Guingamp.

By far the best chance of the match fell to Guingamp substitute Christophe Mandanne, the forward racing onto a quickly taken free-kick with four minutes remaining, only to see his effort strike the post.

Instead, Dinamo held on for their first clean sheet of the group stage in a game which they dominated without displaying the cutting edge that would have allowed them to bounce back from defeats by PAOK FC and ACF Fiorentina – in which the Belarusian team conceded nine goals.

Dinamo created the only opportunities of the first half as Franck Dja Djedje volleyed wide in the 11th minute before Nenad Adamović shot straight at goalkeeper Jonas Lössl 13 minutes later, having spun his marker on the edge of the area.

The second period was a marked improvement and, six minutes in, Guingamp's Jérémy Sorbon latched onto a headed pass from Younousse Sankharé, only for Dinamo goalkeeper Sergei Ignatovich's hand to thwart him. Dinamo's Sergei Kontsevoi might have done better with a header from Igor Stasevich's cross and then Mandanne had the best chance of the night. The replacement sprinted onto Moustapha Diallo's lofted pass before heading the ball into the box and sending his effort goalwards, only to see it bounce off the inside of the right-hand post and away to safety.
