FC København are yet to lose in four meetings with Club Brugge KV following a 1-1 draw on matchday three – and they will be aiming for another positive result when the sides reconvene in UEFA Europa League Group B.

• Current FCK coach Ståle Solbakken was in charge when the Danish outfit beat Club Brugge 1-0 in Belgium during the 2008/09 UEFA Cup group stage, César Santin scoring the only goal.

FCK's Norwegian coach Ståle Solbakken earned 58 caps during a successful playing career, which ended abruptly after he suffered a heart attack. Having won five Danish titles in his first spell as the club's coach, Solbakken returned to FCK in 2013.

• A goalkeeper for R. Standard de Liège, KV Mechelen, SL Benfica and Belgium, for whom he won 58 caps, Michel Preud'homme has been in charge at Club Brugge since September 2013. As a coach, he has won league titles in Belgium (Standard, 2007/08) and Saudi Arabia (Al-Shabab FC, 2011/12) in addition to the Belgian Cup (KAA Gent, 2009/10) and the Dutch Cup (FC Twente, 2010/11).
