Round of 32 draw takes place in Nyon at 13.00CET on 15 December

FC Metalist Kharkiv could not avoid finishing their UEFA Europa League Group L campaign without a point to their name as KSC Lokeren OV defeated them by the same scoreline as in the reverse fixture on matchday two.

Striker Mbaye Leye scored his first UEFA Europa League goal for the club in the 16th minute, and it proved to be enough to inflict a sixth defeat of the group stage on Metalist, as Lokeren exited the competition despite a ten-point haul.

Nill De Pauw scored the only goal of the game in the matchday two fixture in Belgium and was into the action early on in Ukraine, as he brushed the side netting with a swerving effort from outside the area. Then, seven minutes later, he spotted the run of Leye, who ghosted between two Metalist defenders who had been distracted by the run of Cyriel Dessers, before the Senegalese cushioned his header across the face of goal and into the corner of the net.

Twenty-one-year-old Ukraine midfielder Serhiy Bolbat responded by trying to drag his team back into the game with a series of energetic bursts, one that ended with a shot that required a good stop from Lokeren goalkeeper Boubacar Barry. However, Lokeren nearly had a second goal just before half-time, Olexandr Goryainov producing a superb save from a Dessers header.

Lokeren defender Denis Odoi almost headed past his own goalkeeper three minutes after the break, before De Pauw's long-range effort had to be parried away. Lokeren substitute Eugene Ansah headed against the bar in the closing stages, and Metalist's Vasyl Kobin flashed a drive just wide, as Lokeren ended their run of four straight away defeats in this competition.
