Kukës v Legia decision

The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body have awarded Legia a forfeit 3-0 victory after the abandoned first leg at Kukës. The second leg will be played in Warsaw on Thursday.

FULL DISCIPLINARY DECISION

Match: 2015/16 UEFA Europa League, third qualifying round, first leg, FK Kukësi v Legia Warszawa, played on 30 July in Albania. The match was abandoned in the 52nd minute.

Incidents
• Match not taken place in full: Article 26 of the UEFA Europa League regulations
• Setting off/throwing of fireworks and/or objects: Art. 16 (2) (b) & (c) Disciplinary regulations (DR)
• Crowd disturbances: Art. 16 (2) (h) DR
•Illicit banner: Art. 16 (2) (e) DR

Decision
The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has decided to declare the match FK Kukësi against Legia Warszawa as forfeited. As a consequence, FK Kukësi is deemed to have lost the first leg 3-0. In addition, the Albanian club has been ordered to play their next two UEFA competition home matches behind closed doors. The second match behind closed doors is deferred for a probationary period of two years. FK Kukësi have also been fined €70,000.

The return leg will take place on 6 August in Warsaw.
