Ticket sales for the UEFA Super Cup 2014 – to be played at the Cardiff City Stadium in Cardiff on Tuesday 12 August – ran from Thursday 7 June 12.00CET to Friday 27 June 2014 12.00CET, exclusively via UEFA.com.
• Application process
Each applicant was asked to complete the online application form for a maximum of four tickets and entered the ticket ballot, regardless of the time of submission within the application period.
Applicants will be informed by email at the latest by 7 July as to whether they have been successful or not. They will also be able to check the status of their orders via the UEFA Super Cup ticket portal latest on 7 July. Tickets will be delivered by registered post no later than end of July 2014.
Any ticket order not in accordance with the UEFA Super Cup 2014 ticketing terms and conditions will be rejected.
Tickets were available in three price categories:
Category 1: GBP 110
Category 2: GBP 75
Category 3: GBP 40.
Payment for all tickets is by credit card only. If you are a successful applicant your credit card will be charged automatically and no changes or cancellations will be accepted after 27 June (12.00CET).
• Applicants vetted
All ticket holders are bound by the ticketing terms and conditions and UEFA will take action in cases of any breaches. Online applications will be verified with the competent authorities to ensure that anyone banned from attending football matches cannot purchase the tickets.
Sales of tickets for the UEFA Super Cup 2014 are conducted exclusively on UEFA.com. UEFA urges all football fans to refrain from purchasing tickets or hospitality packages from unauthorized sellers, agents or websites as such tickets may be counterfeit or invalid and the unaware purchaser may be refused admission to the stadium. Fans attending the final are warned that tickets will be personalised and that security checks at the stadium are planned.
