Fans can now apply for tickets for the UEFA Super Cup game between European champions Real Madrid and UEFA Europa League winners Sevilla, which takes place at the Lerkendal Stadion in Trondheim, Norway, on 9 August 2016 at 20.45CET.
UEFA Super Cup tickets are available exclusively through UEFA.com, with interested parties encouraged to submit ticket requests before the deadline, on Thursday 30 June at 12.00CET.
Sales are not conducted on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure that as many fans as possible have the chance to attend the match. Fans are able to apply for the category and number of tickets that suit them best once they have created an account on the portal. The number of tickets per applicant is restricted to four tickets in the same price category.
After the closing date, all valid applications will be entered into a random draw – so applications may be submitted any time while the portal is open as they all have an equal chance of being successful.
The price categories that are available are:
Category 1: €150
Category 2: €90
Category 3: €50
Accessibility category tickets are also priced at €50 (same as Category 3 with one companion ticket provided for free)
Fans can check the status of their application after submission by logging into their account on the ticket portal. Please note that it will not be possible to make any changes to applications, including credit card details and address, after the portal closes on 30 June at 12.00CET.
Successful applicants will have their credit cards charged automatically and will be notified via email by 14 July 2016. Please note that only MasterCard and Visa credit cards will be accepted for payment, which will only be in Euros.
