Barcelona 3-3 Roma
Jordi Tur put Barcelona ahead and Carles Aleñá scored a stylish second before hitting an eye-catching third. The No10 cut in from the right and beat three men before bending a shot in from the edge of the box. However, Ezequiel Ponce's header made it 3-1 at the break and Juanma García's dismissal – and Riccardo Marchizza's subsequent penalty – set the stage for Ponce to claim a point with an 86th-minute strike.

Group F
Bayern München 0-1 Olympiacos
Giorgos Manthatis decided the contest with a precise effort five minutes into the second half. The result, coupled with Arsenal losing to Dinamo Zagreb, means Olympiacos could finish in a three-way tie on ten points with those teams on matchday six.

Arsenal 1-2 Dinamo Zagreb
Arsenal needed a point to win the group but now go into their final fixture, away to Olympiacos, in danger of missing out altogether on the top two after this reverse. Josip Brekalo's opener and Amer Gojak's finish from a tight angle had the hosts up against it, their lone riposte coming 12 minutes from time when Stephy Mavididi turned in Chris Willock's centre.

Group G
Maccabi Tel-Aviv 0-4 Chelsea
The Londoners were confirmed as pool winners following a comfortable success in Israel. Tammy Abraham's penalty opened the floodgates, with Charlie Wakefield and Kyle Scott also on target before the interval. Chelsea took it easier after the restart, Abraham completing the scoring on 86 minutes after being sent through to beat keeper Haviv Ohayon.

Highlights: Porto 0-1 Dynamo Kyiv

Porto 0-1 Dynamo Kyiv
Dynamo had the better of the first half but Porto looked to have turned the tide in the second until being caught on the counter, Olexiy Schcebetun converting from Viktor Tsygankov's delivery. The latter was the key man for Dynamo following his 62nd-minute introduction, his runs relieving the Porto pressure. The Dragons, meanwhile, struggled to convert possession into chances.

Group H
Lyon 4-0 Gent
Christopher Martins and Gaëtan Perrin got two goals each as Lyon made light work of the visitors. Martins tapped in Romain Del Castillo's pass on 18 minutes, Perrin finishing with a low shot two minutes later. Perrin's second on 58 minutes followed a fine Jordy Gaspar ball, and he turned provider a minute later, supplying Martins for another near-umissable effort.

Zenit 0-1 Valencia
Feliks Shalimov turned into his own net on 73 minutes to give Valencia the win, the 18-year-old slipping up while trying to cut out Ismael Martínez's ball for Antonio Martínez. In the first half, Pavel Nazimov hit the crossbar for Zenit, while team-mate Vadim Romanov drew a great save from Antonio Sivera.
