Ajax 3-1 Sevilla (Dekker 14, Van de Beek 49, Nouri 79; Nané 36)
Ajax were superior from the off and deservedly took the lead when Donny van de Beek teed up Gino Dekker. The visitors, though, were level before half-time thanks to Nané's finish high into the net. The hosts took charge again after the interval, Van de Beek converting the rebound after Abdelhak Nouri's shot had been blocked. Nouri then got on the scoresheet himself following a corner to rubber-stamp the win.

Highlights: Anderlecht 2-0 Arsenal

Anderlecht 2-0 Arsenal (Vancamp 8 28)
Jorn Vancamp's two goals inside the opening half-hour proved enough for Anderlecht, with Arsenal unable to break down the hosts' defence. Vancamp's first was a towering back-post header that met Orel Mangala's cross. The second was far less direct, Vancamp applying the finish to Gilles Denayer's pass following an intricate move. Arsenal keeper Hugo Keto denied Vancamp his hat-trick in the second half.

Middlesbrough 5-0 Dynamo Kyiv (Cooke 8, Pattison 31, Jakupovic 49, Coulson 68, Wheatley 78)
This was a result which seldom looked in doubt, Callum Cooke getting the ball rolling early on with a simple tap-in from Harrison Chapman's cross. Alexander Pattison added the second, also from close range, with Arnel Jakupovic and Hayden Coulson doubling Middlesbrough's cushion by midway through the second half. Captain Josef Wheatley applied the gloss after Chapman had struck a post.
