Benfica ran out 4-0 winners against Real Madrid in the 2014 semi-finals in Nyon – UEFA.com looks back on that fixture ahead of their last-eight meeting next Tuesday.

Real Madrid could be forgiven for feeling as though they have a score to settle with Benfica when they host the Eagles in the UEFA Youth League quarter-finals on 8 March.

The teams' semi-final two years ago was a forgettable occasion for the Spanish side, who lost 4-0 at Nyon's Stade Colovray. Nuno Santos scored two and set up another during a frenetic opening 17 minutes in which Benfica established a 3-0 lead and Madrid had Jaime Sánchez sent off.

While none of the players in action that day are still eligible for the last-eight encounter at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano, three of the four top scorers left in the 2015/16 competition might be on show:
