Atlético recover quickly to draw level with Austria

Club Atlético de Madrid 2-1 FK Austria Wien
The Spanish side recovered from conceding after only three minutes to draw level on seven points in Group G with their visitors.

Club Atlético de Madrid and FK Austria Wien are involved in a three-way share of the lead in Group G after a 2-1 comeback win for the Spanish side.

Austria started the day three points clear at the summit but have now been caught by Atlético and FC Porto, who were 2-1 victors at FC Zenit. Roberto Fresnedoso's side prevailed despite going behind after three minutes, Austria forward Valentin Grubeck finishing from a corner.

However, Alberto quickly responded, converting smartly from another set piece, before Borja Martínez linked up intelligently with Ivi to make it two. Marko Kvasina rattled the crossbar after the restart, yet Atlético were otherwise untroubled.
