Quarter-finals and beyond
The path for the rest of the competition is mapped out in December, at the same time as the last-16 draw. There are open draws for the quarter-final, semi-final and final stages with all these ties being contested as one-off matches. The two one-leg semi-final games and the final will be played as a four-team tournament at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland in April 2015.
