Minute By Minute

  • End Time
    The final whistle is blown.
Wayne Harrison, reporter: Salzburg were good value for this victory. They had the clearer openings, some of them as a result of overplaying in defence by their opponents. Barcelona, in contrast, scored with their only effort on target. The energy of the Austrian side is to be admired. After a quiet spell at the beginning of the second half they really stepped it up and have been rewarded with a place in Monday’s final.

    Patson (Salzburg) scores!
Salzburg have the second goal they will argue their pressure deserved. Once more Hannes Wolf is a central figure as he receives possession on the right and delivers an inviting low ball that Daka Patson, getting across the front post, sweeps under Sergi Puig. Cue an acrobatic celebration.
