Hosts Germany have won all four of their games at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship and a fifth success against the Netherlands at a sold-out Stadion Magdeburg on Monday morning will give them the title. Captain Reinhold Yabo presents his exclusive guide to their 18-man squad.

1 Marc-André ter Stegen (VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach, goalkeeper)
"He is a goalkeeper with a great presence. Oliver Kahn is his role model and his words count for a lot in the team."

2 Bienvenue Basala-Manzana (1. FC Köln, defender)
"Bienvenue is my team-mate at Köln. He is very quick, very skilful and can play in any position on the field."

3 Marvin Plattenhardt (1. FC Nürnberg, defender)
"Marvin is a tough defender with ability in attack. He is a quiet guy but what he says has great influence on the team so that's why he is important for us."

4 Robert Labus (Hamburger SV, defender)
"Robert is also a great guy. Very friendly, very polite. And he is a great player at the back."

5 Shkodran Mustafi (Hamburger SV, defender)
"Shkodran is a leader. He is a great header of the ball and very important for the team."

6 Gerrit Nauber (Bayer 04 Leverskusen, defender)
"Gerrit is always working on his game. He never gives up, even though he does not start regularly. It is very important to have players like him in the team."

7 Christopher Buchtmann (Liverpool FC, midfielder)
"Christopher is a very, very skilful player. And because he played at Liverpool he has English qualities, he is really tough."

8 Reinhold Yabo (1. FC Köln, midfielder)
"I am a leader. I try to make the pace of the game, try to keep the match running."

9 Lennart Thy (Werder Bremen, forward)
"Lennart is our top scorer, he is a great striker. He has great physique and is very tough."

10 Mario Götze (BV Borussia Dortmund, forward)
"Mario is a very creative player. We call that sort of player a 'Schlitzohr' in German, which means that he is a very tricky and very creative player who has always an idea – on and off the pitch! He is a funny guy who can always decide a match by himself."

11 Abu-Bakarr Kargbo (Hertha BSC Berlin, forward)
"Abu-Bakarr is a very athletic player. He can always go past defenders and score goals."

12 Bernd Leno (VfB Stuttgart, goalkeeper)
"Bernd concentrates hard. He is the substitute goalkeeper but when you need him he is always there."

13 Niko Opper (Bayer 04 Leverkusen, midfielder)
"Niko is a robust, athletic and skilful player with a hard shot."

14 Yunus Malli (VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach, midfielder)
"Yunus is very good on the ball. We sometimes compare him to Andrés Iniesta because he is very quick and can do a lot of things with the ball."

17 Manuel Janzer (VfB Stuttgart, midfielder)
"Although Manuel is small he is always able to go through defenders and get a chance to score. He is very good on one-on-one situations and has a hard shot as well."

18 Matthias Zimmerman (Karlsruher SC, midfielder)
"Matthias is a very versatile player who can play in many different positions. He is a very skilful player with great technique, very strong and good in one-on-ones."

19 Florian Trinks (Werder Bremen, midfielder)
"Florian is similar to Mario Götze, he's very creative and quick. He's very good in set-pieces which makes him important in close games; he can make a difference."

20 Kevin Scheidhauer (VfL Wolfsburg, forward)
"Kevin is a tall player, very strong in the air. He is always someone who tries to motivate the team and can score goals at any time."
