UEFA European Under-17 Championship holders England will face the Netherlands while 2009 winners Germany meet Denmark in Thursday's semi-finals in Novi Sad.
Group A winners Denmark had already secured progress before Monday's last games in the section, likewise the Netherlands – runners-up in 2005 and 2009 – had clinched Group B. In that pool Germany defeated Romania 1-0 to progress, overtaking the Czech Republic who drew 0-0 with the Netherlands. Then, in Group A, England saw off hosts Serbia 3-0 to leapfrog France, beaten 1-0 by Denmark, in their first finals since 2003.
Both matches will be played at the Karadjordje Stadium in Novi Sad, with the Netherlands and England kicking off at 11.30CET and Denmark against Germany to follow at 16.30CET. The final will be played in the same venue at 11.00CET on Sunday and will be live on Eurosport.
