Serbia and Greece made light work of progressing from UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualifying round Group 6.
Both teams had already secured elite round berths after two games following wins against Andorra and Estonia. Hosts Serbia took first place, though, a superior goal difference proving decisive after Branislav Nikolic's charges played out a goalless draw against Greece on the final day.
On the opening day Serbia overcame Andorra 6-0 and 15-year-old FK Crvena zvezda forward Luka Jović stood out with two goals. Greece beat Estonia 3-1; level at half-time, Vasileios Angelopoulos converted a penalty and Anastasios Dimitriadis added another goal. Estonia pulled one back in the last minute through substitute Mattias Käit but Andreas Xiros responded.
Estonia took the lead two days later against Serbia as Jan Kokla scored on 26 minutes but Ivan Šaponjić soon equalised. Jović again stood out as his two second-half goals set up a 4-1 win, Hendrik Nälk's 55th-minute penalty miss effectively ending Estonia's chances. That meant the hosts were through along with Greece, who defeated Andorra 1-0 thanks to substitute Antonios Stathopoulos's 79th-minute strike.
Andorra and Estonia were both already eliminated going into their final-day encounter, but Estonia ensured that they finished the preliminaries on a high. Eduard Golovljov registered a second-half double as Lars Hopp's side claimed their first three points of the campaign.
