The UEFA European Under-17 Championship quarter-final schedule has been confirmed after the concluding round of group stage games.
Russia, England and Italy filled the remaining three knockout berths from Groups C and D on Wednesday, joining France, who rubber-stamped their last-eight participation by winning their first two matches, in advancing. On Tuesday, Belgium, Germany and Spain progressed with Croatia, who, like France, had sealed early qualification.
The ties will be played in Burgas and Stara Zagora on Friday and Saturday – and will be broadcast live on Eurosport. The last-four fixtures will be held at the same venues next Tuesday, when the two FIFA U-17 World Cup play-offs for the beaten quarter-finalists take place in Sliven and Sozopol, kick-off 16.00 local time.
