Czech Republic striker Tomáš Necid is on course to finish as top scorer at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship having ended the group stage with three goals, more than anyone else – although a number of players harbour hopes of snatching that honour away from him.

Two goals each
The SK Slavia Praha forward hit both goals in the Czechs' opening win against England and also found the net in the 4-3 defeat by Italy, when Jan Morávek got the other two. Morávek is one of four players on two goals, although Emilio Nsue can no longer add to his tally following Spain's elimination. Italy pair Alberto Paloschi and Andrea Poli have also scored twice and will attempt to strike again against Hungary in the semi-finals while the tournament's leading marksmen are Germany with their seven goals having come from seven different players.

Pavlis on top
Greece attacker Michail Pavlis managed his side's only goal in Group B, yet is the overall top scorer in this season's competition having also netted six times in qualifying. Of the chasing pack, Hungary forward Krisztián Németh now has six goals following his winner against Bulgaria in the first Group A game, while only two of the six players on five goals – Germany's Timo Gebhart and Dennis Naki, neither of whom have registered here – can overhaul Pavlis.
