Spain and Croatia have both suffered the misfortune of losing players to injury with defender Javi Manquillo and goalkeeper Oliver Zelenika now sidelined for the rest of the 2012 UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Estonia.

Club Atlético de Madrid right-back Manquillo left the pitch on a stretcher during Friday's 3-3 draw with Portugal before subsequent tests revealed that he had suffered ligament damage to his right ankle, ruling him out of action for around six weeks. His place in the Spain squad has been filled by Valencia CF's Salvador Ruíz, who is available for selection for Monday's Group A encounter against Estonia.

Zelenika, meanwhile, is resigned to his tournament having come to an end after he picked up a knee ligament injury during a Croatia training session. NK Osijek keeper Marko Malenica has been drafted in ahead of the team's final Group B encounter against Serbia in Rakvere.
