With the UEFA European Under-19 Championship at the semi-final stage, Spain striker Jesé Rodríguez leads the way at the head of the scoring charts having managed four goals during the group stage.

The Real Madrid CF forward struck in the opening 2-1 defeat of Greece and followed up with a hat-trick in the 3-3 draw against Portugal to take his tally for the finals to four. With a semi-final against France to come on Thursday he could yet add to that, although Giorgos Katidis and Dimitris Diamantakos – whose Greece side face England in the last four – both have three strikes to their name.

Four players are on two goals although all – Croatia's Mihael Pongračić and Domagoj Pavičić, and Betinho and André Gomes of Portugal – will play no further part in the competition. A further 20 players have managed one goal, including five from England, two Greeks, three Spaniards and five members of the France squad.
