Serbia have become the sixth team to win the UEFA European Under-19 Championship and the first new name on the trophy since 2009.
Victory against France – themselves champions in 2005 and 2010 – meant Ljubinko Drulović's team joined Italy (2003), Germany (2008) and Ukraine (2009) on one triumph each. France are second on the list but, despite their semi-final elimination at the hands of the French in Lithuania, Spain remain the U19s' dominant force.
The Iberian side have twice won consecutive titles, in 2006 and 2007 and again in 2011 and 2012. They have six triumphs in total having also come out on top in 2002 and 2004 – but the 2013 glory belonged to Serbia.
